VOLUNTEER REQUIRMENTS:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must commit to a minimum of 4 hours (8 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
- Must be able to stand for 30 minutes at a time
- Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds
- Must be able to work independently
VOLUNTEERS MUST BRING:
- Closed toe shoes
- Refillable water bottle
- Long pants, hat, sunscreen, and bug spray recommended
VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION
We welcome new volunteers on Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. During your shift, you can expect to help with tasks such as weeding, thinning, and watering plant material and other hands-on nursery work that supports our operation and broader restoration goals. After your first shift, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with our nursery staff to schedule future shifts that better fit your availability.
